Summer Camp Daily Classes

Warm-up and Daily Stretch

  1. Improv (Each day we will have multiple Improv games the kids will play in order to build confidence and comfortbility on stage. We understand being able to adjust and act on the fly is very important to any actor’s career/development)

  2. Instensive Script Analysis and Scene Study (students will break down and analyze multiple sides and scripts)

  3. Behind the scenes (Set/production terms, directing, producing, filming, and more)

  4. Writing (students will work on writing their own commercials, scenes and short films)

 

Lunch

  1. Character Building (This class will solely focus on the understanding and connecting to your character. We will go in dept about your character’s history, objective, circumstances, relationships and more.

  2. On Camera Auditioning (students will film and watch mulitple auditions throughout camp. We will not only critique and watch, but children will get one on one feedback from instructors and counselors.

  3. Daily Special Guest (Special Guest will range from directors, producers, casting, actors and business owners)

  4. Arts and Craft (Daily Different Arts & Craft Activities from painting, building, coloring, drawing and more)

  5. Performing Arts Collective (Towards the end of the day we will branch off into some other performing arts including dance, martial arts, and singing)


TEEN INTENSIVE DAY CAMP - Saturday, June 26th

A full day of intense training for teens (From everything Behind the scenes to the front of the camera). Multiple Special Guest and Instructors will join us throughout the day.

Schedule

Improv and Warmup - 9:00am-10:00am

The Techniques 10:00am-11:00am

(Students will get introduced to multiple acting techniques and

the chance to learn more about techniques they may have already learned)

Snack Break - 11:00am - 11:05am

Scene and Script Breakdown - 11:05am-12:30pm

(Students will get assigned scene partners, characters, and to

break down and analyze. Students will not only film there scenes,

but after lunch they will film scenes in audition form)

Lunch - 12:30am - 1:30pm

Auditioning - 1:30pm - 2:30pm

(Students will get feedback after auditioning not only from

instructors, but also special guest in attendance)

Behind the Scenes Panel - 2:30pm-3:30pm

Camp Review - 3:30pm - 4:00pm

Camp Rules

  1. Campers please be on time. In case of  expected absence or tardiness please notify TACA in advance.

  2. Campers are expected to be respectful and courteous to all campers, staff, as well as others TACA.

  3. All apparel may not have inappropriate language or graphics on them.

  4. All campers must sign out with a counselor before leaving.

  5. Cell phones, I-Pods, I-Pads, or other electronic devices are not allowed during camp hours, but cell phones may be used during bus rides and field trips. TACA is not responsible for lost or stolen electronics.

  6. TACA is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

Consequences


In order to provide a safe and fun environment for all campers, all rules and regulations must be followed. The Camp Director has the right to take disciplinary action if rules are not followed. Parents or guardians will be notified either during or after the camp day, and all infractions will be written and recorded. After two verbal warnings, the camper will have the choice to follow the rule or be dismissed from camp either for the day or for the duration of the week, a refund will not be given.


A zero tolerance policy is enforced in regard to bullying as well as other acts of aggression. Fighting, hitting, or physical altercations of any kind will result in the camper/campers being separated and removed from the camp group until a parent or guardian can pick them up, a refund will not be given.
